The new composite terrace turned the family yard into an outdoor living room

"Ten years ago, I had the opportunity to work in summer employee at UPM, and it opened my eyes to the wonderful materials they produce. Then, I decided that if I ever build my own terrace, it will be from UPM ProFi. I am especially pleased that this easy-to-maintain and durable terrace product is made of recycled materials and that the boards can be recycled if necessary," says terrace owner Sanni.

Sanni continues: "We chose the Silver Green color from the UPM ProFi Deck products because it pleased our eyes the most. This shade is a delightfully soft and natural gray that fits perfectly with our surroundings. Since our terrace is mostly exposed to the southern sun, the light shade we chose also cooler compared to darker options."

A perfect family day on the terrace starts with morning coffee in the sunshine. The children play happily on the terrace, racing cars and doing somersaults on the stairs. The family grills delicious food and eats outside together. On the terrace, you can enjoy snacks in the company of friends and loved ones. In the darker autumn evenings, the terrace takes on a particularly charming look when the hydrangeas are blooming, and it's wonderful to curl up under a blanket and read a magazine or a book. The day is crowned by a dip in the jacuzzi.

"The terrace is like another living room for us, located in the fresh air. Flowers and colors change according to the season. During the day, it's nice to do remote work outside and enjoy lunch on the terrace. With the family, we spend time grilling and playing on the deck. In the evening, we relax in the jacuzzi, which is situated in the corner of the terrace. The stairs at the entrance also offer a nice place for even the youngest members of the family to sit and wonder while the rain hits the ground," Sanni says happily.

Sanni concludes: "The installation of the terrace was handled by a team of professionals. They installed UPM ProFi for the first time. The end result was fantastic and we are very happy with our choice. All in all, the UPM ProFi terrace has turned our yard into a real extension of the interior, and we are very happy with this decision. The composite terrace not only increases living comfort, but also due to its environmental friendliness, it fits perfectly with our values."
