Plan your terrace with UPM ProFi composite
By following 4 main steps you are able to create a deck of your style which not only looks good but is durable and easy to maintain over the years - non-dependent on the weather.
1. Choose the deck
UPM ProFi’s composite decking family offers a choice between the fresh and clean look of UPM ProFi Deck 150, and the rich hardwood tones of the Piazza, Lifecycle and Vision. Deck design may be enhanced by alternating the direction of the boards, mixing colours, creating shapes and borders, and using both profiles found on the reversible boards.
2. Plan your deck
Composite decking is free of knots and other visual defects found in timber, so less wastage is incurred. However, accurate planning will help to optimize the material quantities needed. Creative design is enabled by our Deck Planner, which also produces a detailed list of the amounts of materials needed and a drawing of the decking sub-construction.
3. Buy the products, see the real samples
UPM ProFi’s complete range of products is available throughout Europe from professional distributors of timber and building materials’ products. Brochures, samples and technical advice can also be found from these companies.
4. Install the deck - by a professional installer
In many ways installing composite decking is similar to installing a timber deck. However, there are a few specific ways in which the material behaves differently than timber, and the installation instructions should always be followed closely. We recommend always using a professional installer when installing a composite decking.
